StrideLabs is happy to announce that it was the recipient of the Ministry of Justice and Service Award at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley (FCCB). StrideLabs was chosen to receive the plate offerings taken at Sunday morning worship for the weeks of May 14, 21, 28 and June 4, 2023.
“We are pleased to partner with StrideLabs and the powerful work you and your organization do,” FCCB representatives said in the letter announcing their recent decision.
StrideLabs leaders and interns expressed their appreciation for the gift using a hybrid model of videos and in-person presentations, so the entire congregation could get to know StrideLabs and fully join the nonprofit in its mission.
“We’re gratified to have been recognized by a church that is so inclusive and well-known for its outstanding community work,” said StrideLabs Co-founder Kandea Mosley Gandhi, who created a video for distribution. “We also hope interns can serve as a resource for any tech needs congregants or the church itself may need now or in the future.”
