Dedicated to promoting cohesiveness and well-being in the African American community, Berkeley Juneteenth celebrates African American art, culture, and history while engaging the broader community, supporting social justice solutions, and helping develop the next generation of community leaders. Their work creates opportunities for connection and empowerment, making their website an important part of how they share their mission and engage with their audience.
To better support their mission and create a more cohesive online experience, we made several thoughtful updates to the website. We standardized the fonts across all pages for greater consistency, refined the homepage slideshow so the first image visitors see feels more welcoming and inviting, and made subtle design adjustments throughout the site to improve readability, navigation, and the overall user experience. Together, these changes create a more polished website that better reflects the organization’s welcoming and community-focused mission.
